The Midyear meeting of the CAPACS Board will be held from 1:00 - 6: 00 pm, on Saturday, January 31st, 2015, at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa at the Convention Center in Montgomery, AL, site of the 2015 AACS Annual Meeting (201 Tallapoosa Street; Montgomery, AL 36104 USA; Tel: 1-334-481-5000; Fax: 1-334-481-5005; Toll Free Room Reservations: 1-877-545-0311; for email assistance, please use the Renaissance Montgomery 'Contact Us' web page). Ask for the AACS conference room rate when booking your reservation. Please note that the Midyear meeting of the CAPACS Board will convene for only one-day, owing to the conference location in Montgomery, Alabama, and also to limited, connecting flights in and out of the Montgomery Regional Airport (approximately 8 miles from the Renaissance hotel), and the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport (approximately 95 miles from the Renaissance hotel). Instead, the CAPACS Board will meet for an additional hour on Saturday, until 6:00 pm. Commissioners are expected to attend the entire meeting, and to book their return flights on Sunday. There will be no exceptions for late afternoon or early evening flights on Saturday. A joint AACS-CAPACS Board meeting dinner is planned for Saturday evening. Please be advised that the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & SPA does not offer shuttle services to and from the two airports.
